Loire Valley Workshop

4 days in the beautiful Loire Valley, France

May 31st to June 3rd

Linda Lomelino, Michaël Diot and Olivia Thordén Rubie invite you to a creative adventure in one of the most exciting regions in France.

We will spend 4 days cooking, learning and adventuring in the Loire Valley. We will stay at a beautiful old stone cottage with an attached Studio surrounded by nature and farmlands. We will cook local food together and set tables in nature to enjoy long conversations about all things creative. This is one of our favourite houses for workshops - it’s simple but visually extravagant and has been lovingly cared for by an artistic family for 4 generations. This workshop’s focus will be all things video and photography but as usual all creatives are welcome. The wider the mix the more interesting!

Programme

May 31st - Friday

Arrival in the afternoon. We’ll have drinks in the garden and a long candle lit dinner in the studio, getting to know each-other and introducing the projects for our days together. Also a perfect time to shoot the dinner table in the beautiful studio space!

June 1st - Saturday

Adventuring out in the Valley, expect surprises and a little wine. Time to work scheduled for the afternoon with Michaël, sharing his knowledge on artistic direction and storytelling. We’ll prepare dinner in the beautiful kitchen and then have dinner in the garden.

June 2nd - Sunday

Work scheduled for the early morning to catch the morning light with Linda. We’ll set up a baking scene where you can shoot and film the whole process. Lunch at home. Lessons with Olivia in the afternoon on how to shoot big scenes. Dinner in the garden.

June 3rd - Monday

Lessons in the morning followed by time to edit in Lightroom, Camera Raw and Premiere Pro, followed by a long lunch and departures.
