Learning new skills is allowed be fun
Our opinion is that creatives learn new skills by doing, so we like to keep the demonstrations short so there is plenty of time to play. We are completely available to share all our knowledge, in group settings and in 1 to 1 if you have more in depth questions. We often have more advanced photographers with us and you can also bring your own project to work together with us on.

What you’ll learn during your stay
This year one of the workshop sections will focus on stage setting and setting up for and shooting/filming big scenes with multiple people with Olivia.
Artistic direction from A to Z (brainstorming, storytelling, presentation), the exposure triangle and fps, how to think about settings before and during the shoot with Michaël.
How to style, shoot and create a story from a food scene thinking about angles, textures, colors and settings. How to create a short video from the scene whilst baking/cooking, and then editing in Camera Raw or Premiere Pro with Linda.
All three of us will of course be there to assist you if you have any special project in mind!

The house is very old with lots of character. A gentle adaptation to today's convenience has been made, which also means that most of the original charm has been preserved.
There are 5 rooms plus a living room with a double bed. There is a possibility to have either a single room (but no private bath) or a shared room in the workshop house. If you prefer a single room with private bath, please let us know and we can arrange for you to stay at a beautiful nearby farmhouse.
There are two indoor showers in the workshop house, one with an entrance from the garden and a third one outside. Wonderful to cool off there on a hot summer day! -
Prices start at €2600 for a shared room

The house is located about 30 km south of Angers, the capital of the Anjou region.
You can take a taxi (best is, of course, to take a car) up to the house located between the village of Denée and Mozé sur Louet up on the plateau.
You get to Angers via train from Paris, it takes approx. 1h20.
There are direct trains from airport Charles de Gaulle TGV to Angers. There aren't that many trains directly from CDG, so check your train before booking your flight.
There are also trains departing from Gare Montparnasse in Paris.
If you arrive at Orly airport, there is a direct bus to Massy TGV train station that goes to Angers.

Everyone is welcome! No prior knowledge is required.
However, if you want to shoot we recommend that you bring your camera (or phone, if you prefer) and any other needed gear. A laptop is a good idea to bring if you want to edit in Lightroom/Camera raw/Premiere Pro (we find that learning by doing is a good idea!).
If you have any food intolerances or special diet requirements, please let us know beforehand so we can be sure to accomodate you!
We also recommend that you have travel insurance.
